Hello gorgeous!

I’m Alana, mom to two beautiful, vibrant little boys, wife to my wonderful, supportive husband, cat mom, craft enthusiast, and self proclaimed Target fan girl. I wear many different hats, but my most favorite to put on is hairstylist.

I became a stylist after being immersed in the beauty industry from a young age. While I have always been passionate about skin care and makeup, it was not until cosmetology school that I found my true passion for hair.

Becoming a stylist has been so much more than just a career.

The beauty industry is ever-changing, flowing and exciting which is perfect for me since I've never been one to sit still. Doing hair allows me to be creative in ways I could have never imagined. With color being my true passion, the possibilities for creativity in this industry are endless. My clients love that I can make their wildest Pinterest hair dreams come true, or give them something as unique as they are. The most rewarding thing about my job is helping people feel beautiful and empowered. It's amazing what a change in hair color can do for your confidence.

I am a firm believer that life is a smorgasbord, and I am determined to take a bite out of everything I possibly can.

Fitting into a mold and following the crowd has never been something that interested me. I’m quirky, unconventional, extroverted, and probably not everyone’s cup of tea; but if you believe life is not meant to be taken too seriously, I’m probably the stylist for you. Being genuine and unapologetically myself is important to me, because the little girl I use to be would be so proud of who i’ve become. Though, I’m almost certain the real reason my clients keep coming back is my wonderfully horrible comedy act (only kidding).

My soul thrives off of meaningful conversations and relationships with people. Getting to live my passion of helping people love themselves every single day, is one of the most amazing and rewarding things, and I could not imagine doing anything else. Dreams are real, and I believe anything is attainable if you set your mind to it (except maybe black to blonde in one day). I will be your biggest cheerleader, and a shoulder to lean on when life gets you down, and I promise I won’t judge when you’ve had too much wine and decided to cut your bangs yourself… because friend, we have ALL been there.

You’ve met me and now I’m waiting to meet you!

Visit my new client page to learn more about my salon and how to book your appointment. I promise you won’t ever regret it.

Cheers!

xoxo

Salon Standards

Your health and safety matter to me when you sit in my chair.
This is why I look for products with clean ingredients and minimal allergens. I’m always happy to disclose all products used and provide ingredient lists if there’s ever a concern. I do generally ask that if you have allergies or extremely sensitive skin, that you come in for a patch test at least 24hrs prior to your appointment.

I also pride myself on taking mental health very seriously behind the chair, so if there is anything I can do to make your visit more comfortable, please let me know. As a neurodiverse person with lots of sensory issues, I would be most happy to accommodate you.

With the dreaded “rona” or “global panini” as I like to call it, I know it can be stressful for folks who are still taking extra precautions to find a comfortable space that takes their concerns seriously. I am happy to do what I can to make my suite feel as safe as possible. I have continued to use laundry sanitizer on all capes and towels, I wipe everything down between each guest with approved, virus killing disinfectant, and I am always more than happy to wear a mask for anyone who feels safest doing so. To avoid anyone feeling uncomfortable asking, just send me a little mask emoji with your arrival text so I know to put one on before meeting you at the door.

My primary goal within this career has always been to uplift people and help them to see their true beauty while simultaneously expressing themselves through their hair. I love breaking down stigmas of colored hair and gender rolls within the societal beauty standards. I pride myself on support and inclusion, because I want everyone to feel beautiful and spoiled when they spend their time in my chair.

FAQs

  • Unfortunately there isn’t a one size fits all answer to this. For the best results, I suggest no more than 3 day old hair.

  • Its best to wear something that you’ll be comfy sitting in for a while. I also suggest not wearing your favorite clothing items as accidents can happen. The temperature in the salon can change, so easy on and off layers is ideal.

  • I highly encourage you to find childcare for your appointment, especially the longer ones. My suite isn’t very large and its not necessarily a kid friendly environment. I do understand that things come up, so as a mom myself, I can absolutely be flexible. Please understand that I do need to stay on track for my next client time wise, so some services may need to be shortened or postponed. Information about this is also included in my cancellation policy when you book your appointment.

  • Unless that person is also getting a service, please check with me before bringing anyone else to your appointment. My suite is limited on space which can make it difficult for me to do my job effectively with extra bodies in the room.

  • As long as you cancel or reschedule at least 48hrs in advance, there is no penalty. Anything after that 48hrs will require a $25 per service rebooking fee. It is NOT applicable to the new appointment, as it can be extremely difficult to fill a spot in 48hrs or less.
No shows will be charged a 50% rebooking fee before booking their next appointment. It will not be applicable to the new appointment.
    Change of service:
Changing from a longer service to a shorter service where the price difference is greater than $50 will result in a $25 fee for any services removed from the initial visit within 48hrs of the appointment.
    Refunds:
I do not offer any refunds on services. I am happy to adjust anything that needs to be adjusted as long as i’m notified within a week from the original appointment, and no permanent at home alterations have been done. Please note that an adjustments are only to fix tonality or add a bit of brightness or darkness if i’ve missed the mark from what we’ve discussed. If you’ve decided to do something completely different, or want to come in sooner to work towards your hair goal, ill be happy to assist you in booking your next appointment online.

  • I use square for everything, so all major credit cards are welcome here, even amex and discover! I also accept cash.

Unfortunately at this time I do not accept Venmo, cash app, PayPal, Zelle, or personal checks.

I do however offer AfterPay on purchases over $200!
